An EPIGRAM on the Character of Juno, in the Burletta of the Golden Pippin
by Anonymous
When Hara took his pen to write, The part of Juno with his might, He sure had C-tl-y in his eye; For nature is in all the part, Deck'd out with matchless skill and art, Tho' in burlesqued poetry.
True it is the bard was never Half so nat'ral nor so clever, If he the part for C-tl-y drew; For he with judgment has prefix'd Her artful and her vulgar tricks, And form'd her wond'rous just and true.
