Hymn XCIX. Another
by Anonymous
Arise, my Soul, with Wonder see What Love divine for thee hath done; Behold thy Sorrow, Sin, and Grief, Are laid on God's eternal Son.
See! from his Head, his Hands, his Feet, Sorrow and Grief flow mingling down; Did e'er such Love, such Sorrow meet, Or Thorns compose so bright a Crown.
Were the whole Realm of Nature mine, That were a Present far too small: Love so amazing, so divine, Demands my Soul, my Life, my All.
