English poem
Masons Songs, Song VII
by Anonymous
By Masons art th' aspiring domes In stately columns shall arise: All climates are their native homes, Their learned actions reach the skies, Heroes and Kings revere their name, While poets sing their lasting fame.
Great, Noble, Gen'rous, Good and Brave, Are titles they most justly claim; Their deeds shall live beyond the grave, Which those unborn shall loud proclaim. Time shall their glorious acts enrol, While love and friendship charm the soul. To the lasting honor of Free-Masons.
