The Song of Simeon. Chap. 2. Verse 29
by Cotton Mather (1663–1728)
Lord, me thou let'st depart in peace, who have thy servant been, After thy word now. For mine eyes have thy salvation seen. Even that which thou prepared hast before all peoples face. A light to Gentiles, glory to thy people Israel's race.
