Come neighbours, drop a tear for Joe
“Come neighbours, drop a tear for Joe!” The sexton quaintly said, When Captain Joseph was laid low Into his last lone bed. And so they did. And even now Dull records prove the fact— That never a man in all Westlooe Possess’d such mining tact Before or since old Joseph died; Or bore three prouder names— If heav’n and earth were both allied— Than Captain Joseph James.
