English poem
PSALM CXVII. 2d Meetre
by John Barnard (1815–1882)
Ye Nations ev'ry where, Of Iew, or Gentile, Line, To praise Iehovah's Name, With Hearts, and Voices join: With sacred Mirth, His Praise be sung, By ev'ry Tongue, Thro'out the Earth. Because his matchless Grace, In Pity to us, flows; The inexhausted Store No narrow Limits knows; Iehovah's Word Shall still endure Forever sure. Praise ye the Lord.
