English poem
EDWIN'S PILLS, &c, SONG
by John O'Keeffe (1747–1833)
Your toupee I can twirl, Your locks I can curl, And you'll find me in truth, So expert at a tooth, I can make, with a touch, every broken old stump In your mouth like the jacks of a harpsichord jump. At the razor and lancet unrivall'd my trade is; A beard thick as stubble, I mow without trouble, And open a vein with a hand like a lady's.
