English poem
Something New
by Laura Elizabeth Howe Richards (1850–1943)
There’s a new thing at our house: It’s not a cat; it’s not a mouse; It’s not a bird; it’s not a dog;
It’s not a monkey or a frog; A sweeter thing than any other; It’s just a little Baby Brother!
