A New Song
by Anonymous
Pray kiss me, gentle Chloe cry'd, For I am weak and tender! I will, my dear, the Swain reply'd, Forbearing to offend her.
Then closely shutting both his lips, (Regarding well his honor) Her rosy mouth he lightly sips, And fixt his eyes upon her.
"O fie! (says she) you make me blush, Be quick and have it over, I would not give a single rush For such a teazing lover."
At length, instructed how to please, (Resolving not to mind her) He prest her closer by degrees, And found the damsel kinder.
