Divine HYMNS used by some Christians at the Receiving of the Sacrament of the Lords Supper. With some others…
by J. B. H. (1829–1887)
Hosanna to King Davids Son, Hosanna to the CHRIST: That in the Fathers name does come, Hosanna in the high'st.
For thou wast slain and art alive, Redeeming us to God, From every nation, kindred, tongue, By thy most precious blood.
Corruptive things, as silver is, And gold, redeem'd us not, But Christ, our Saviour, precious blood, A Lamb without a spot.
To him that sits upon the Throne, And Christ the Lamb therefore, Be Glory, Blessing and Renown, And Honour evermore.
