This was the Bless'd Concord above
by Peter Pratt
This was the Bless'd Concord above, My Soul to Ransom and Retrieve, Then Mercy flew on Wings of Love, In hast to Succour and Relieve.
Lord, I thy Wondrous Grace Adore, And stand Amaz'd to see thy Love; Let me behold for evermore Thy Face in Light, with Saints above.
For this the Pious ever will In welcome Hours GOD's Throne Address, Whose Humble wishes he'll fulfil, And One Day all their Griefs Redress.
