LESSON IV. Of God's Relation to us
by Philip Doddridge (1773–1832)
At home, abroad, by night, by day, God is my guardian and my stay, And sure 'tis fit my soul should know He is my Lord and Sovereign too.
O may that voice that speaks his law, My heart to sweet obedience draw; That when I see the Judge descend, I in that Judge may see my friend.
